the effects, emotion and movements is so..guh!I can't trust my voice right now because of how stunned and fascinated I am,all I can say is that you did a fantastic job and keep up the good work.
I just have one question on my mind, did the two men die at the end?If they did, that's sad. but I must admit, the other man with glasses's effort on saving the other was...kinda touching.
@02:50haha. I enjoy how he watches them as they fall and cringes at what one would suppose is their impact, then simply looks .. ah i forgot the word .. but its funny and quickly flees the scene ^^
not sure if it was your aim but its a good funny counter to the sad scene as both males fell.
@01:31It's wonderful to see all of this in action O: I've been watchin' you here for years and to actually see these characters brings feelings of nostalgia and awe.
@01:00Even before I saw the end, I got a little misty eyed right about here, probably due to a combination of the music and the colors. Maybe I just subconsciously knew where this would go based on the tone.
Of course, I forgot 2 seconds later when the tempo picks up and the action scene starts, so the end managed to take me by complete surprise anyways!
lol, You are too young to remember the glorious days of tobacco advertise, once upon a time there was a land where every little guy would dream to be Malboro cowboy and every girl wanted to have a cigarret and be classy as the pink panter. (do you remember when pink panter would smoke? or tom and jerry smoking even bugsbunny and his troupe used to smoke) what a time
My thesis animation for the School of Visual Arts. I started working on it in June 2009 and finished in April 2010 (10 months). Thank you to my amazing assistants, I couldn't have done it without you!
The animation was done in Flash, inked/colored in Photoshop, and composited in After Effects. The music is by the gracious Ugress [link] who was kind enough to allow me to use his work.

Really awesome work, the colors, the music, the picture... All fit very well together, from the first seconds to the end of credits I felt in another world like an insignifiant spectator, or more like a gargoyle - petrified. Pearls like this are why I love deviantArt so much, and between it also reminds me why I watched you - I love your style. *-* Congrats for the DD between, it was time ago but you really deserved it.
they died..
i don't even know who they are butim already sad..

Really effective at evoking emotion.
My biggest criticism (which I saw someone else comment on) is how stiff the arm movements in running sequences look. It doesn't feel urgent enough.
Still, it comes together as a beautiful piece of work. I love it.
Prompt please how is the melody or the song?
And sorry for my bad english.. ^^
