school's out

Journal Entry: Tue May 6, 2008, 2:03 PM

Journal

So school is finally out for the summer and I have somewhat of a break now. I'm going to be getting a full time job but until then I'll try to relax and finish up some commissions. I got a Twitter account if anyone wants to keep up with me there: [link]

I'm going to be gone from mid-July to mid-August visiting my family in Korea.

So what are you guys doing this summer? :)

Luck of the Draw - Signed Deck Auction

Journal Entry: Thu May 1, 2008, 10:13 PM

Journal

signed cards

The signed Luck of the Draw deck is finally up for auction. There was a delay in getting all of the signed cards mailed in, but the deck is now complete. If you're not familiar with the Luck of the Draw, it was a collaborative card deck done in 2006 by 55 different artists. You can view all of the cards here: [link]

Auction

To bid, click here to view the eBay auction: [link]

Every single card has been hand signed by the respective artist. This means you will have 55 different autographs. The box itself is signed by the artist who designed the back of the card.

The following artists have signed a card in the deck:

100% of the profits from this auction will be donated to the Humane Society of New York. ( Website: [link] Rating: [link] ) The original charity we were going to donate to was the Humane Society of the US, but they spend too much money on fundraising and don't actually support shelters. After reading the comments on Charity Navigator, I decided that donating the money to an actual shelter would help homeless pets much more than the nationwide service. If you are considering bidding on the auction and have an issue with the chosen charity, please contact me via a note or email.

Prints! (and a discount)

Journal Entry: Sun Apr 27, 2008, 10:20 AM

Hey everyone, sorry that all I'm doing lately is selling stuff, but I've been going through a lot. I still haven't resolved the issue with my realtor (leaving me out $1800) and my bike got stolen (LOL). I'm offering some discounts and special deals this time, so take advantage of them if you like!

Here are the discounts:
Promotional - If you show me a photograph of prints/pins you've already bought from me on your wall etc, I'll give you a $2 discount. Only one discount per person.
Free sketch - If you spend $40 or more I will include a free sketch with your order. The subject varies and they may be older pieces.

I will accept Paypal, check, or money order. Paypal is preferred by far.

Signed Prints
8.5x11: $15
For the 8.5x11 size you can choose anything in my gallery [link] or scraps [link] if I have a high res file. Just ask! These are printed from my own computer on a Premium Soft-Glossy 8.5x11 paper. They are full bleed, high quality borderless prints. (I just got a new printer!) Certain images may have white edges since they won't fit in an 8.5x11.

9x12: $18 [normally $25]
10x15: $25
12x18: $35
16x20 or 16x24: $45
These sizes are all ordered from DA prints, signed, and then mailed to you in a solid tube or flat mailer. They may take longer to get to you since I won't be printing them myself, but the quality is excellent.

Shipping prices: ALL sizes are: $3 US / $5 Global [this remains the same no matter how many prints you buy]
I will ship to any country.

To order just comment or send me a note with exactly what you want, and your Paypal email address so I may send you an invoice.

C'è qualcuno qui che parla italiano?

Journal Entry: Sun Apr 6, 2008, 8:35 PM

Journal

Are any of you from Italy? I need help with some writing. A native speaker would be best because I need to be sure about regional dialects, etc. Just leave a comment if you would like to help me.

Grazie in anticipo!

Edit: Please don't "ask your friend" who you think is Italian. I'm looking for a DA user who is already familiar with me who LIVES in ITALY.

Image Description

Second, :iconadri: is offering commissions for really cheap ($3-$5) so go get some!

Third, my moving day is coming up in a couple of weeks and I still have a bunch of stuff I won't have any room for!

Image Description Image Description

These are Hiroshige woodblock prints on textured paper with black wood frames in 8x10. These are both part of one image and match if placed next to each other, or can also look nice on their own. Sorry that one looks yellower, I photographed it at night. $22 each OR $40 for both of them. Shipping would be extra depending on where you live.

japan society

Japan Society action cinema. A small picture in a wooden black frame, measures 3.5x5.5 inches. $10, includes the frame. Shipping would be extra depending on where you live.

I also have a spare print of Waiting in 12x8 inches, signed and numbered (3/5) $15. Shipping is extra.

I prefer PayPal, thanks!

wtf

Does anyone know what the hell this is from? It's a painted animation cel with the original pencils. I have no idea how I got a hold of it or what the hell it is. It just showed up in my stuff one day.
